In search of the perfect game, where players on both sides excelled with skill and determination, Slacker set out to create the perfect Counter-Strike team.

Slacker, a giant in the computer network and web hosting community, began making calls to various contacts in search of the perfect game server connection.

October 15, 2001. 8:30 am.
Contact. A Supercomputer connected to an OC3 backbone was found. Slacker immediately made arrangements to secure the server on a permanent basis, thereby giving all [cis] members a place to call home.

October 15, 2001. 8:50 am.
Slacker knew that information was important. [cis] members need to be able to communicate. Slacker contacted his long time friend and CS backup Hostile. Hostile was still asleep.

October 15, 2001. 10:42 am.
Using top-secret communications equipment Slacker was able to secure a channel to Hostile, who was on his way to work. "Hostile" Slacker said, "It's Slacker. We have a situation. I have begun selecting operatives for a top-secret mission, but I can't do it without you. Can you meet me?"

"I'm on my way."

October 15, 2001. 6:24 pm.
Slacker and Hostile met in a top secret training camp to discuss battle and communications plans. The training camp was quickly configured for optimum training and control. Discussion then focused on communication. Hostile had an idea. It would be great.

October 16, 2001. 10:13 am.
Agents were able to obtain access to a classified computer network that was to be used for information exchange. The access information was encrypted and delivered to Hostile via self-destructing TCP packets. Hostile took the information and began to create.

October 17, 2001. 11:01 am.
"Hostile? Are you finished?"

October 18, 2001. 9:15 am.
"Are you in here Hostile? Where are the lights? Ouch!"

October 19, 2001. 10:13 am.
*ring* *ring* *ring*
"Hello?"
"Slacker, this is Hostile."
"Where have you been? I thought you had been captured!"
"I've done it Slacker."
"Done what? Where have you been?"
"Our complete communications system is up and running!"
"How? Where?"
"Behold... I have created..."




April 5, 2002. 1:01 pm.
Slacker and Angry Penguin from ECS started discussing the possibility of the two clans merging into one Uber Clan.

April 5, 2002. 8:14 pm.
Slacker went looking for Angry Penguin to work out the details. Angry Penguin was nowhere to be found. "Assassin, where is Penguin?"
"Probably at a bar"
":-\ I must speak to him soon. The fate of the free world depends on it."
"Let me see if I can find him."

April 5, 2002. 10:23 pm.
"Slacker" Penguin said, "I heard you were looking for me."
"d00d! Where have you been?"
"heh.. uh What's up?"
"What do we need to do to make this thing happen?"
"I must talk to Krazy Whorse. Stand by..."

April 5, 2002. 10:42 pm.
"Slacker" he said, "Let's make it happen."
And so the deal was made and the details were worked out.

April 5, 2002. 11:16 pm.
[ECS] merges into [cis] and the team becomes whole again!






December 22, 2005. 1:45 pm.
Yakyak begins looking for a new home for the [cis] clan. Counter-Strike:Source has become the popular replacement for Counter-Strike and the team believes that Source is the future of [cis]

December 22, 2005. 12:52 am.
Buster posted some specifics about what to look for in a new server.
"100 tick?" Slacker asked
"Yes" said Redrum, "Don't be a nub!"
"Nub?" Asked Slacker.. "WTF Red? You know you are my biotch!"
Out of nowhere, Freakdaddy declares "Buster For President!" ...brown noser.

"I found a test server" Redrum said, "Check out its 1337ness and tell me what you think."
"d00d! That server sucks!?" yelled Freakdaddy.
"Ok, I will keep searching" said Redrum
"Where else should I look?"
"KillerPings..." said Freakdaddy. "KllerPings."

January 6, 2006. 7:50 pm.
"Slacker" Redrum said, "I emailed you the information for the CS:S server. Can you get it set up?"
"I'm on it."

January 7, 2006. 1:37 pm.
Slacker completes the configuration of the new Counter-Strike:Source server and reconfigures the website to control it. [cis] officially makes the move to Counter-Strike:Source and says goodbye to Counter-Strike, the game that brought this team together.
